This elegant ceramic vase was designed by Gunnar Nylund, one of the most influential figures in Scandinavian modernist ceramics. The vase features a tall, sculptural form with softly fluted vertical ribs and subtly faceted sides, creating a refined play of light and shadow.
Finished in a blue glaze with gentle tonal variations, the surface highlights Nylund’s mastery of form and material. The organic silhouette and restrained decoration are characteristic of his work, balancing functionality with sculptural presence.
A timeless piece of Nordic design, the vase works beautifully as a standalone object or as part of a curated interior, appealing to collectors of mid-century Scandinavian ceramics.
A sophisticated and collectible example of Gunnar Nylund’s distinctive design language.
